Important Information for ALL Guests:

  • There will be no re-admittance to the Rodeo
  • Performances are approximately 2 to 2½ hours long
  • Evening performances sell out quickly. General Admission and Preferred Seating is bleacher seating with no assigned seats. Make sure to arrive early for the best seats possible
  • ATM services available on the rodeo grounds
  • All guests must have valid ID to purchase alcoholic drinks, no exceptions

Do NOT Bring These Items With You:

  • Coolers
  • Dogs or other animals, with the exception of A.D.A. service dogs (no therapy dogs or service dogs in training). A.D.A. service dogs must sit with their handler in the A.D.A. seating area
  • Professional photography equipment or cameras with detachable lenses – use of standard cameras is allowed in the stands only
  • “Go Pro” type devices
  • Umbrellas
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Laser pointers
  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Banners or signs
  • Outside food and drinks

All bags, jackets and blankets will be searched. Guests failing to adhere to these requirements may be denied admittance or removed from the grounds and/or subject to action by Poway Rodeo Security and/or local law enforcement.

Directions

The Poway Rodeo is held at the Poway Valley Riders Association’s grounds in Poway, CA:
14336 Tierra Bonita Road, Poway, CA 92064

The City of Poway is located north of San Diego and southeast of Escondido east of Interstate 15 in southern California.

North Coast (Los Angeles, Orange County): Go south on Interstate 5 to Oceanside. Take 78 east to I-15 in Escondido, then proceed south on I-15 past Lake Hodges to the Camino Del Norte exit. Go east (left, under the bridge) on Camino Del Norte approximately 4 miles to Tierra Bonita Rd. (Along the way, Camino Del Norte becomes Twin Peaks Road.) Turn right at the traffic light on Tierra Bonita and continue approximately 1/4 mile to the entrance to the rodeo on the right.

North Inland (Riverside, Temecula, Escondido): Go south on I-15 past Lake Hodges to the Camino Del Norte exit. Go east (left, under the bridge) on Camino Del Norte approximately 4 miles to Tierra Bonita Rd. (Along the way, Camino Del Norte becomes Twin Peaks Road.) Turn right at the traffic light on Tierra Bonita and continue approximately 1/4 mile to the entrance to the rodeo on the right.

South (San Diego, National City): Go north on Interstate 15 past Poway Road to Route 56, Ted Williams, and go east (right). Turn right at Twin Peaks Road (Beware of the “No Right Turn on Red” sign) and drive to Tierra Bonita Rd. Turn right at the traffic light on Tierra Bonita and continue approximately 1/4 mile to the entrance to the rodeo on the right.

East (Arizona, El Centro, Alpine): Go west in Interstate 8 to Lake Jennings Park Road. Go north (and then west) to Highway 67. Turn right (north) on Highway 67 and proceed about 7 miles to Poway Road. Turn left on Poway Road and proceed down the hill to Espola Road. Turn right on Espola and proceed down the hill. Turn left on Twin Peaks Road to Tierra Bonita Road. Turn left at the traffic light on Tierra Bonita and continue approximately 1/4 mile to the entrance to the rodeo on the right.

Onsite Parking

Arrive early for the best parking. Parking for guests with disabilities with appropriate placard is $20.00 and has a separate entrance located at the south end of the grounds. Please be sure to purchase your rodeo tickets for everyone in your vehicle. There is no ticket booth access from ADA Parking. Limited VIP parking is available for $30.00.

Uber & Lyft drop off is at the front gate.

Offsite Parking

Circle K Lot: $10.00 – located east of the rodeo grounds next to Circle K on Twin Peaks Road
Trinity Church Lot: $10.00 – located west of the rodeo grounds on Twin Peaks Road, just east of Midland Road

There is NO parking in the adjacent neighborhood streets next to the rodeo grounds. NO shuttles are provided, but passengers may be dropped off at the corner of Twin Peaks Road and Tierra Bonita Road.

ADA Accessibility

We welcome our guests who need accessibility assistance to the Poway Rodeo.

  • ADA SEATING is located in the southeast corner of the arena – These grandstands are fitted with wheelchair-accessible ramps, and seats are elevated for a great view of all the action! A.D.A. service dogs are allowed in this area, and wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located near these seats. This special seating area will accommodate one disabled guest accompanied by one companion. Please contact us if you require additional seats.
  • Parking for guests with disabilities and a separate entrance are located at the south end of the grounds + $20.00. Please be sure to purchase your rodeo tickets for everyone in your vehicle. There is no ticket booth access from ADA Parking.
  • Tickets must be purchased before entering the ADA gate.

The Poway Rodeo Committee intends to comply with all regulations and accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Guests with disabilities may receive assistance during the event as necessary from Rodeo volunteers (wearing red vests) or Committee Members in Poway Rodeo shirts. Questions? Call 1-866-PRO-RODEO

Lost & Found

Our Lost & Found area is located at the Poway Rodeo Ticket Booth at the front gate. Please go there if you have lost or found something during the rodeo. If the performance has ended, please email us with a description.
