The Mickey Cafagna Memorial Golf Classic was established to honor Mickey Cafagna, former Mayor of Poway. He was one of the most loved and respected elected officials in the City’s history, who distinguished himself by his thoughtful leadership and enthusiastic support of numerous nonprofit organizations.

In keeping with Mickey’s charitable spirit, a portion of the event proceeds from this tournament will go to a Poway Chamber of Commerce non-profit beneficiary selected by majority vote of our membership.

The Second Annual Brews & Boots returns to Old Poway Park on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The event runs from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, with VIP early entry at 2:00 pm. Childcare is available for a fee. For additional details and ticket information, please click on Event Tickets below.

Join the Poway Community Foundation for a relaxed summer afternoon as we Sip, Savor and Support Poway Nonprofits. Enjoy local craft beer and wine, connect with friends, and take in the setting under the trees at Old Poway Park.

Every ticket supports programs that serve Poway’s children, seniors, individuals with special needs, and the organizations behind our arts, music, sports, parks, and outdoor activities. It’s a fun afternoon that directly benefits the nonprofits strengthening our community.

Regular parade time begins at 9:00 am and starts from Pomerado Road and Poway Road and continues to Bowron Road. The Poway Rotary Parade is a RAIN or SHINE event pending all safety advisories. Watch the Parade along the route and near an Announcer Station!

Handicap parking is located in the Poway Branch Library lot, the Community Center parking lot, and in surrounding business plazas outside of the Parade Route. Free ADA seating is available at the Grandstand (Poway Branch Library) on a first-come, first-serve basis.
